You can have a Twitter Button too. You’re welcome…

When I first saw  this Twitter Buttons, I actually thought that it was some special code or plugin to which I was not yet privy.

I mean it is so cool that my readers ~hint hint~ can just click the button and follow me in an instant.

No more clicking Follow Me, traveling to Twitter, and then clicking Follow.

Because, we all know, the less steps the better, right.

Oh, so I suppose that you want the code to add it to your own blog, huh?

Alrighty, then….

<a href=”“>Follow @TheQueenKatrina</a>
<script src=”//” type=”text/javascript”></script>

I have bolded, underlined, and italicized the parts that you need to make your own because, chances are, if you are a fan of this blog, then you might be as, urr, special as I am.

However, if you don’t like the choices I made in design, you can always go directly to the Twitter Follow Button Resource page and customize your button.

Twitter Button Resource Page

As you can see, only four things can be changed.

The Use Name aka your Tweet ID.

Change the background from Light to Dark.

Chose to show your follower count.

A selection of languages for you lucky bilinguals.

How about you test out just how easy it works by clicking the Twitter Button.

See, easy wasn’t it.

You know is just as easy….subscribing to this blog to keep up with my tips.

I’m just sayin’…..

  • Hi – can you tell me where to put this code? Can we put it in the html of one post and it’ll show up on all posts in the future?

Also, I’m wondering on Adjitize – I just opened a bookstore on FB and would like to advertise it. Do you get much return on your $ when you advertise on Adjitize? I’m looking for marketing ideas for the bookstore which is a children’s classics bookstore where everything is discounted 40-50%.

Thanks again! Tina “The book Lady”

I put the code in my sidebar so that it will show up beside all posts and pages.

If you put it in the html of one post, it will only show up in that one post.

Depending on your theme or a convenient plugin like advertwhirl, you could place it in the coding of your posts and it will show up in every post.

As far as Adgitize, I am not looking for a return on my money. I am after traffic. So all the money that I make on adgitize is immediately plunged back into another ad.

Last month, I made $18.55. A one month ad costs $14. So you can say that I made a nice return.

  • These is the first time I have heard about Twitter button. I always love the ideas you have shared here in your blog. Thank you!
