My Blogging Day 5.19.16

Now that I’ve started writing these blogging life posts, I actually feel guilty when I skip a day…or two…or three.

Some days I skip because I didn’t do much on the blogging front.

Others, I skip because I was just too lazy to write ’em.

Yesterday was a semi-combination of both.

I didn’t really do to much on the blogging front and I really didn’t feel like writing about what I was not really doing.

Make sense?

That’s ok.

I am going to tell you what I did yesterday here and you can be the judge.

Besides the

My Blogging Life 5.11.16 thru 5.15.16

I know, I know…based on the frequency lack of posts of my daily blogging life, you would think that I have done absolutely nothing over the last 5 days.

You would (partially) right.

On Wednesday, I drove to pick up my middle kid from his college which is about 45 minutes to an hour away so that was about 3 hours out of my day gone bye-bye.

So, I just finished up my Facebook blogging group work and called it a day.

Because the very next day, I drove to pick up my oldest from college which is

App of the Month: Easy Click To Tweet By Cheeky Apps

App of the Month: Click To Tweet by Cheeky Apps Review

Sometimes I write such brilliance that I just know that my readers are going to want to share it.

I just know my readers are going to want to share my brilliance so I installed a click-to-tweet plugin on @amablogger. Click to Tweet

I like to make it as easy as possible for them to do so on their preferred social media.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

On way to make it easy is to install a Click To Tweet plugin.

A click to tweet plugin puts a simple box on your post that the reader

My blogging day: book blog

Good morning, readers and bloggers!

I am actually on time this morning.

My schedule is built for my preferences to get all of the work that I need to do done.

I specifically do the tasks that I have previously been neglecting first.

I know from experience that I will stay up late to complete a post but not so much with the social activities.

8:00 a.m.

I am up and off to a good start this morning. I have already checked my Adsense for yesterday ($0.65) and my statcounter (my niche blog hit 114 and my demographic blog

My blogging day: Housing Niche Blog

Man, oh, man…I keep forgetting that I want to keep a log of how I spend my blogging time.

Here it is, almost 11:30, I am just now remembering.

My blogging day generally starts at 8 a.m. and ends around 8 p.m.

Yep, I put in a full 12 hour days and, God willing, I will one day have something to show for it.

Don’t get me wrong, I do take breaks to shower, walk the dog, go to the store, etc.

But, most days are spent simply blogging.

Now, on Mondays, my focus is on my housing niche

Let’s Blog Party Linkup

Greetings Amateur Bloggers,

Today, I said to myself, “Self, today, we should party”.

But what kind of party did I want?

I really have no clue but I knew that I wanted it be a blog party.

So, this week, we are just going to have a really ol’ linkup party.

But, next week, who knows?

Maybe a Pinterest party.

A Twitter party, perhaps.

Or even an Instagram party is not out of the realm of consideration.

All I know is that it is a blog party that is going to go all week long and you’re invited.

May 2016 Blog Income, Traffic, Goals, and Linkup

Welcome to May 2016’s Blog Income, Traffic, Goals, and Linkup post.

Wow, April was a busy month.

I learned a lot.

I tried a few things.

I failed at a few things.

Some things that I tried, I won’t be able to see the until well into this month, so the results will probably be reported on my June 2016 Blog Income report.

Well, let’s get started by looking at my April 2016 Goals success and failures. I put the failures in red (boo!) and the successes (woo hoo!). The kinda dids are in grey.

How to Make a Giant Pin Invisible on Your Blog

These days, having a pinnable image on your blog is a must.

But, if you are like me, you don’t want that gigantic, awkward picture taking up residence on your post.

Well, thanks to Uncork Your Dork (a post that you should really read as it is chocked full of good blogging tips), I just learned how to make that hubba bubba image be invisible on my post.

What you may not have noticed is that at the very beginning of this post is an image that is 800 x 2000 tall.

App of the Month: WP Touch Mobile

WP Touch Mobile

Hello, my fellow Amateur Bloggers.

This month, I am starting a new blog series entitled App of the Month. This new series will feature an app that I just love.

This month, that app is WP Touch Mobile, a app that instantly makes your website mobile responsive for FREE. And I just can’t tell you how much I love it.

Previously, I wrote this post, How to make your Atahualpa Theme More Mobile Friendly on this blog. And it works great. No complaints here, really. But I just like the way that WP Touch Mobile presents better.
