Approved for Project Wonderful

Hurrah!, one of my blogs, Chat With Katrina,  has finally passed through Project Wonderful’s stringent rules.

Equally as exciting, is that now the rejection emails tell you why your blog was rejected.

Frankly, the guessing and correcting was quite frustrating.

Now, I can just look at the why and determine if it beneficial for me to change and reapply.

But, first, I am going to check out the advertising and income potential with the one blog that has already been approved before I make any further decisions on adding any others.

The ad blocks seem similar to the ones that I use for CMF Ads and Adgitize, both of which are way simpler to enroll.

Frankly, I’m not expecting to get rich with this.

However, it would be lovely to at least make enough to pay my webhosting!

Coming soon: Instructions on how to get started with Project Wonderful. Do remind me if I forget to write it. Lol.

  • "Stringent" is right. I'm not a fan of Project Wonderful or Adgitize. I have had reasonable success with Entrecard and cmfads, and recommend both. Each blog has its own parameters when it comes to what works or doesn't work in the way of adverts and text-ads!

I use CMFAds and EntreCards to drive traffic to this blog. It works very well. And that, of course, also increases my Adgitize performance. I'm in the process of testing various ways to monetization.

  • Hi Katrina, congrats on the approval 🙂 Persistance pays off! You have a nice blog, I can tell you put a lot of work into your blog so I am not sure why they would not approve you before. They must be real picky! I have not heard of Project Wonderful yet but I will check it out. Please do keep us posted on how it works out for you. I wish you success, have a wonderful weekend 🙂

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I spend entirely too much time working on the designs of my blogs! Lol.

Check out Project Wonderful whenever you get a chance. At the very least, you can always advertise for free by putting in a $0.00 bid for a maximum of two day.

I just spent an hour doing that for one of my other blogs, ChatWithKatrina.com

  • i applied to project wonderful but got rejected, i don't have plan to re-apply as i am thinking of reducing badges on my blogs. i think entrecard and cmfads are good, they're free and works with my money blog. i advertise my other blog with adgitize and it's traffic is good but there has been some changes in adgitize that makes me think to stop advertising.

    from my blog:
    Finally! Got Chitika Approval

Yeah, I wasn't to keen on what I considered a paycheck cut when Adgitize changed how they pay to increase participation in the forums. Now, everything seems to be back to normal though so Yay!

  • Gee

congratulations! welcome to PW, hope all your blog will be approved. 🙂

I was just thinking that I would post all of the details that I know on Project Wonderful. Especially as now that they have opened themselves up to affiliates. 😉

  • Thanks for visiting my blog and for following. I'm now following you on my writing blog because it's more pertinent to your site than Sunday's Child. About Project Wonderful, I was approved for all my blogs, but I've only got one running at the moment. The reason I chose to delete two of them from PW is because the earning isn't enough for the place it takes up on my site. I'd rather have a Google adsense ad there. CMF is quite similar. You don't earn enough but you can purchase 'visits' to your blog. The only thing about this is that these visits last for mere seconds and count as negative to your Google ranking in the end, because of the bounce rate element. I also deleted all but one site from CMF ads. Haven't tried Adgitize.
