How to Earn More Money With Amazon

I just read an excellent article by Andy Bailey, the maker of ComLuv, entitled How To Earn More Money With Amazon.

Actually, I think this article should be more appropriately entitled How To Get Free Images from Your Blog by Using Amazon And Incidentally Increase Your Amazon Income.

The fact is, it never occured to me use the images from Amazon in my blog.

Whenever you’re writing a post on your blog there’s a good chance that you’re going to want to include an image. Now, you could go and pay for an image from iStockphoto or search flickr for a creative commons image and be sure to attribute it to the photographer but, how about a way to do it for free and maybe make some money too?

Amazon has a bazillion products so there’s a very good chance that there’s an image they host on their worldwide content delivery networked servers that will fit your needs. Just head on over to the Amazon site, search for something to do with your image and use the affiliate bar to link to the image. done!

That’s the advice in a nutshell.

As an example, he supposed that we were writing a blog on Google Panda.

Do a search on Amazon for “panda”.

At the time of writing this I got 35,237 results.

Selecting one (and already being logged in and an Amazon Associate), I clicked the Link To This Page Button.

Since I just wanted an image, I selected Image Only, copied and pasted the code,  and voila!

This cutie is now the image for my blog!

Now, you’re probably wondering how just having this image will make me any money.

Will, the thing is that it could make money, there is no guarantee.

However, if a reader clicks on the image, they are taken to my Amazon Associate page.

If they purchase my lil’ panda, I make a commission.

However, the most wonderful thing is that if they purchase anything at all, panda or not, I still make a commission.

And that holds true for the next 24 hours at least.

Its not much work and the image doesn’t even slow down my load time since it is hosted on Amazon’s servers.

And I don’t have to worry about giving any appropriate credit to the original owner of the image.

I was wondering how I was going to integrate more amazon monetization into this blog as well as my personal blog,

This way seems perfect!
