All of the good domain names are taken.
We all know this.
Unless divine inspiration hits and you have luck on your side, finding a one or two word domain name is nerve wracking, to say the least.

Which side should your sidebar be on?
After all of my reading on the subject my answer is, I have no clue.
I have blogs with the sidebar on the left.
I have blogs with the sidebar on the right.
The only thing that I can tell you is that with my experience using the small screen of my iPod Touch, I am leaning more towards having it on the left.
Why?
Because I hate to scroll, especially using a bottom scroll to move left and right.
